THE TONY-TILLA
(model No. 28)

This model was built using datum lines and incidences taken from a Magnatilla plan and sort-of grew, on the board, as something to stick to the back of the home-made "radiator." The wing was built-up and fully symmetrical

This plane was a terrible flyer. No amount of balancing, re-balancing, changing wing and tailplane alignment, and changes of engine, could transform it into the sweet-flying plane it was (roughly) based on

I gave up in the end and scrapped the airframe. The wing was recycled, by cutting down the span and increasing the cord, to use in The Scrapster - where it has performed perfectly
